About Lace & Whimsy Soy Candles:
Our candles are hand poured with care in small batches in our studio in Hockessin, Delaware. We use 100% pure soy wax, made from US grown soybeans. Soy wax burns more cleanly and slowly than paraffin wax. We use only premium fragrance oils that are free of the phthalates, carcinogens, and various toxins which are ubiquitous in many other fragrance oils on the market. We blend our wax with mica to give the melted wax a mesmerizing shimmer. Please be aware that slight frosting and minor imperfections are typical of natural wax candles. To add a special touch of whimsy and unique charm, each candle is adorned with dried botanicals and biodegradable glitter. We recommend removing the botanicals from your candle before lighting, particularly any larger raised blossoms, as they may come in contact with the flame. The glitter flecks are plant-based and safe to burn.
Burning Instructions:
Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting. Remove botanical toppings before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time so that candle does not overheat. Soy wax has a memory, so be sure to burn your candle until the melted wax pool reaches the edges of the container. This will maximize the potential burn time of your soy candle. WARNING: To prevent fire and serious injury: Burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn the candle near anything that can catch fire.
