Adventures in EPCOT

The EPCOT World Showcase in Disney World is one of my favorite places! Seeing as I've barely traveled out of the United States (just the Bahamas and Canada!), it's a fun way to get a little taste of traveling the world. I just love all the different architectural styles of each pavilion and speaking with the cast members. (The staff working in each country's pavilion are actually from that respective country.)

The International Flower & Garden Festival was going on while we were there.

Topiaries of favorite Disney characters were tucked throughout the park. So fun!

If you haven't been to Disney in the past couple years, "Magic Bands" are the new thing. The bracelets serve as your room key and park tickets. You can also attach your credit card, which is great for paying for drinks at the pool. No need to bring your wallet anywhere!

Venetian masks in the Italy pavilion.

We sure do miss our dogs! The Lady topiary reminded us of our little Daisy pup!

We had dinner at Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavilion. The cheddar cheese soup was amazing!

The Canada pavilion in EPCOT always holds a special place in my heart. Not only is it the only country in the pavilion that I've actually been to, but I've also been to the Château Frontenac in Quebec City, which was an inspiration for Disney's design.

They were beginning to set up for the fireworks as we left the park. We were too tired to stick around.
