Orange You Glad It's Fall?

I put together this outfit around my new-to-me cardigan I scored at Goodwill over the weekend. My friend Ivy was intimidated by the idea of thrifting, so I showed her the ropes! What a lovely time we had chatting and catching up while sifting through "World's Most Huggable Grandma" sweatshirts in search of the good stuff. It was a successful outing! Between Goodwill and Plato's Closet, we had quite the haul.

The cardigan I'm wearing today is Ann Taylor LOFT, which I found at Goodwill for $3.99! It's such a great Fall layering piece. It has almost a citrusy hue that will work well in the Spring too. I may update the buttons on it to make it a little more interesting.

The dress was my first purchase ever from Ruche, which is now one of my favorite online boutiques. Their styles are so me -- lots of soft delicate pieces with frills and feminine details. The dress is no longer available as I ordered it a few years back (on clearance! $20!). I found my lovely yellow druzy ring at bloom, one of my favorite local boutiques. I wear it nearly every day. I've tried phasing in other various right-hand rings, but I always seem to reach for this one.

The necklace I'm wearing above is vintage; my nana gave it to me when I was little -- it was in a box of junk jewelry a friend had given to her. I've kept it over the years. It's a nice little piece to put a subtle finishing touch on an eclectic outfit.

I completed the look with my Nine West cloche hat, earrings from Kohl's (the LC Lauren Conrad line - love!), white lace tights from Forever21, lace knee-socks from Urban Outfitters, and my fall boots from Macy's last year.
